Overview

Lifespan: 15–20 years • Size: 7–9 in • Temperament: docile, beginner-friendly

Enclosure

Minimum: 18×18×24" (vertical terrarium)
Recommended: 18x18x36"
Substrate: bioactive soil, coco fibre, or paper towel for juveniles
Decor: branches, vines, elevated hides, live/fake plants

Temperature & Humidity

Mist once or twice daily; allow partial dry-down between mists.

Lighting

UVB is optional but recommended (2–5%). Provide a 12-hour day/night cycle and shaded areas.

Insects: Crickets or roaches 1–2× weekly — gut-loaded and dusted with calcium + D3
